Holiday and Vacation Countdown Widget app review: countdown to your special event 2021

Introduction

This is an iPhone holidays app you can use to set a timer to count down the days, hours, minutes, and seconds leading up to a special even in your life, whether it’s your summer vacation, the birth of your child, or your wedding anniversary, Holiday and Vacation Countdown Widget has got it covered.

I’ve been having fun playing around with the different combinations of titles and images you can use to design the countdowns and so far I think this holidays app serves its purpose very well with a host of additional features for personalizing and sharing your countdown timers via social networking sites.

Share the Excitement

This app is a great way of sharing your excitement about upcoming events with friends and family. You can create your own customized countdowns with using either one of the stock images or a photo from your Camera Roll as the background image. Alternatively, you can snap a picture with your camera from within the app.

This is ideal for really building your excitement for, say, a vacation; add a gorgeous picture of your destination and feel the anticipation every time you see it!

You can, of course, set the specific date and time of the event as well as adding a name for the event. You can also set the alarm to repeat periodically and set reminders to go off minutes, hours, days, or even a month before the countdown reaches zero.

Once you’ve finished creating your countdown you can save it as an image at its current progress or share it with others via Facebook, Twitter, email, or text message.

This is a great little app with lots of possible applications; I can totally imagine using it as a birthday or Christmas countdown to get the kids in on the action as well!

It's the Final Countdown!

I really like this app and although I have noted the in-app purchase for additional countdowns as a negative point, I’m glad to see the developer has offered this initial free ad-supported version so you can see how you like it before laying out any cash.

Experimenting with the various features, it seems that Holiday and Vacation Countdown Widget is very well designed with more than adequate stability and reliability; I haven’t had a single issue with lagging or crashing.

There are a few countdown timer apps available in the App Store and it’s difficult to pick a ‘best’ one so I think I’ll wrap this up by saying that Holiday and Vacation Countdown Widget offers some decent and consistent functionality and I’m confident it will serve just as well, if not better than any other countdown app currently available.
