Introduction
Foxit Mobile PDF is an iPhone documents app designed to provide you with a comprehensive suite of tools for managing all of your documents in one convenient app. You get the ability to edit your files with detailed annotating tools, share documents via online Cloud services, and much more.
As far as PDF and document viewer apps go, this documents app really isn’t too bad at all. There are a few features such as a Cloud service syncing and creating PDF documents from camera or Camera Roll which are available as additional in-app purchases, but the basic content offers some great functionality to help you keep your files nice and organized.

PDF Power
Upon first starting up this app you’ll see the currently available documents, which includes an eleven-page guide to help you get started with the various features, and a brief overview of the updates included in the latest version.
From here, you can begin adding in your own documents and editing them accordingly.
I was quite disappointed to see that importing PDF files from images taken with your device’s camera is a feature that you have to purchase additionally, because I’ve seen this offered for free as part of document scanner apps.
What You Can Do With It
Despite my disappointment, you obviously have the choice to pay for that upgrade or simply have the minor inconvenience of downloading a free scanner app and doing things the long way around.
You can view a full history of your view documents as well as being able to add important documents to a Favorites list, and I’m pleased to see the option to secure the app with a password. This makes Foxit Mobile PDF a suitable app for those of you who want to manage your documents but have some sensitive materials you’d rather keep under lock and key.
Pros and Cons

- Password-protect this app for enhanced security
- Create PDF files from your camera or Camera Roll by purchasing the additional feature
- Sync your documents with online Cloud services by purchasing the additional feature
Cons

- Cloud syncing isn't free
Final Words
If you’re looking for a PDF reader and editor which is a little on the light side of the spectrum in terms of functionality, I think Foxit Mobile PDF will be more than suitable.
I’m not happy with having to use a separate free document scanner but if you have a dollar or two to spare, you can easily add this extra feature along with Cloud syncing.
Features aside, Foxit Mobile PDF is a more-than-adequate app which runs smoothly and reliably, and it has clearly been designed by some very professional minds, so please don’t hesitate to download and take it for a whirl.
