Introduction
Best Corny jokes by Michael Quach is an app that delivers the corniest and worst jokes ever, straight to your iOS device. These jokes are so bad, even my dad wouldn’t tell them! There are hundreds of bad jokes in this app, one even worse than the last. This is all that the app brings to the table. If you want to surprise friends with a lack of humor, or you want to see how long it takes for them to laugh, this is the app for you.
Trying Not to Laugh
The jokes in this app are so bad that sometimes you will have to laugh about them. These jokes kind of remind me of Christmas, where you will find a toy and a bad joke in your Christmas cracker. The good thing is that now you don’t have to wait until Christmas to hear bad jokes! Most of them are silly puns or plays on words, and are especially effective on children. There are other ones that deserve a bit more credit, but they are still pretty bad.
There’s not much more to say about the jokes in the app, so let me give you an example: "What do you call a deer with no eyes?" The answer is in the next paragraph.
Simple Layout
Let me start with the answer to the joke in the last paragraph: "No eye deer!"
Well, that shows you the level of humor you should expect from this app. The layout of the app is simple. The background color changes with every joke, but the question and answer form of the jokes remain the same. You get an answer on your screen after pressing the big question mark button.
Just press the arrows in the bottom of the screen to go to the next joke. On the very bottom of the screen you will find the only ad that runs through the app. This is found on every page and isn’t a very big nuisance. You can get rid of it by paying $2.99, but I don’t think paying anything for this app is worth it.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
Hundreds of bad jokes
-
Kid-friendly
Cons
-
The jokes are soooo bad
-
Pay way too much for getting rid of ads
Conclusion
This probably is the best worst joke apps available in the App Store. It’s a simple app, with horrible, yet kid-friendly jokes. If you ever run out of conversation material, this app will get it started again, just because the jokes are so bad.
Getting rid of the ads is way overpriced, but since the rest of the app is free and the ads are not too much, you’ll learn to live with them. The app is compatible with iPhone and iPad and is just under 2 MB in size. I dare you not to laugh!
