The Sworkit app is a great fitness app for those of you who don’t have the time or money to hit the gym on a regular basis. The Sworkit fitness app offers you the alternative of getting in a great workout to build muscle and burn fat without the need for equipment of any kind.

There are so many health and fitness apps in the App Store catering to more or less the same level of functionality, and it can be frustrating at times seeing how the same idea gets rehashed time and time again, just with a different logo and visual layout.

Sworkit takes a slightly novel approach, I’m pleased to say, and although the concept of an app laying out bodyweight workouts isn’t unheard of by any stretch of the imagination, I like the way the developer has added Yoga and cardio exercises to a separate section.

I like this because it means this app will appeal to a much wider audience of all ages, male or female.

Get to Swork!

Looking at the Strength Training section, there are pre-designed workouts designed to target specific areas such as Upper Body, Lower Body, and Core Strength. There is also a full body workout and an Anything Goes workout where you never quite know what you’re going to get.

The Yoga, Cardio & More section features Sun Salutation and a full Yoga sequence, and you’ll also find some cardio workouts and stretching drills to work through.

Another great feature for those of you who would rather go it alone enables you to tap Custom Workout on both sections of the app and design your own plan.

There is a huge number of exercises to choose from so you’re going to be utterly spoilt for choice!

This app has seen numerous updates over the pas tyear that have include tweaks for Apple health, a smoother search function, privacy updates, adding notes to workouts, fixing bugs and more.

Final Words

Another thing I like about Sworkit is that you can earn Kiip rewards by completing your workouts, thereby providing you with access to free offers from health and fitness companies.

This is a pretty decent motivator and provides a tangible incentive to power through the more difficult sessions for sure.

The developer has done some great Swork on this app, if you’ll excuse the pun, and with the ability to design your own workouts, I’d recommend this app to people of all fitness levels.
