With so many fitness tracker apps out there now, it can be pretty difficult to determine which one is going to meet your needs most effectively. I like to preface some of my reviews with this because in assessing the efficacy of an app, it’s also important to gauge where it stands in the bigger picture of the App Store as a whole.

Keep Up the Pace
All of the data you input is visible in the Trends section which enables you to view charts of your progress on a weekly, monthly, six-monthly, or all-time basis.
These charts can be viewed in portrait or landscape mode with the tap of a button and this is excellent for providing a more tangible point of reference for evaluating your health and also how you’re coming along in terms of improve your fitness levels.
Another great feature is the Plan section which enables you to create a variety of, yep, you guessed it, plans.

If you want to design your own custom plan you’ll need to upgrade Pacer via in-app purchase, but you can use the Couch To 10K Steps plan for free, and this is ideal for getting you off your tush and moving!

Final Words
One very nice feature which I almost neglected to mention is that from the Activity section, you can tap the Music icon in the top right-hand corner to create a Power Song playlist from the existing tracks in your Music Library.
A lot of attention has been paid to the details of Pacer and it definitely holds its own very well amidst the countless fitness tracker apps. I don’t think you can go wrong with this app so definitely receives my recommendation.
