Library and Book Reader

Not only does this app provide you with a massive library of free books but it also gives you an integrated reader so there is no reason to leave the app. It’s convenient, free, and simple. I like the way this app looks and feels too. Sure it’s just a library and book reader but it's got a smoothness to it and looks very modern. The user interface is uncluttered, making it easy to navigate.

Finding books is simple: you can browse through the library or you can search for a specific title. To make the search a little easier on you the books have been divided into 30 different categories including the top 100 audiobooks that have been recommended by people just like yourself.

Book categories include such popular ones as fantasy, adventure, mystery, history, children, and fairy tales. There is a sorting feature too that lets you sort by author, title, or popularity.

The Reading Experience

I have now downloaded a number of books and with each one I have been incredibly impressed with the speed of the download. The books are easy to read in the book reader portion of the app and you can flip through the pages just as you would a real book. At any point you can change the font size, the background color, and the text color. There is also an automatic bookmark feature so you'll never forget where you were.

Even while flipping through the pages this app still felt fluid and smooth, with no lag.

Now let’s discuss the quality of the narration since this is an audiobook library. So far each of the books I’ve sampled have all offered clear, entertaining, and engaging narration of the book that is easy to listen to. I like that you can view a list of chapters in the book so you can also skip ahead if you'd like to find a particular passage.

The app plays in background mode so even if you’re busy doing other things you can still enjoy listening.
