Private Calculator app review: hide your photos, videos, documents, notes, and contacts behind a calculator

Reviews

Introduction

If you have some, shall we say, sensitive files that you’d like to keep safely under lock and key then this is one iPhone and iPad app that you’ll definitely want to take a look at as it provides a great disguise for your secret folders by posing as a basic calculator.

The best vault apps for the iPhone

With so many private folder apps available nowadays, it can often be difficult to tell them apart, but I am particularly impressed with the visual interface of this development. There has clearly been some effort gone into producing something that not only runs well but looks great too.

I would definitely recommend this app to any of you who are looking for a nifty way of hiding away photos, videos or any other files that you want to keep away from prying eyes.

Easily Secure Your Most Sensitive Files

Private Calculator - File Hider, Secret Photo/Video Browser, Image Downloader & Note/Contact Keeper makes it very easy to add files, with my personal favorite option being able to use Wi-Fi transfer to move files to and from your device and computer.

You can also import photos and videos directly from your Camera Roll, so this is great for securing files that you already have on your device. Pretty much every imaginable media format is supported, so you won’t have to worry about compatibility issues either.

Another thing I really like about this app is that it features an integrated web browser, which means that you can safely surf the Internet and download files directly into the app without having to export them from an external source.

Enjoy a Secure In-App Web Browser

Furthermore, the web browser has a very cool feature that you can use to download all of the images from a web page at once.

There are a host of other features for creating and importing notes, contacts, and other documents, so this is a great way of combing through the existing content on your iPhone and making sure that everything is as secure as it needs to be.

Of course, if you just want to use this app as the calculator that it pretends to be, then you can do this too!
