DataMan Next is an app that helps you guard against overage on your data plan.

The app will predict if you will stay within your data limit for the month using Smart Forecast. The stats come your operating system so you know the information is exact.

You can track both Wi-Fi and cellular usage. The app will work with all carriers offers four different threshold alerts that you can set, and has great themes.

You can also look at your history to see usage trends.

The display screen will tell you if you’re safe or in danger of going over your cellular usage for the month.

You’ll also see how much of your data you’ve used, how many days are remaining in your plan, your billing cycle, and how much cellular and Wi-Fi you have used to date.

When you first open the app, you’ll have to enter your data plan information like your bill cycle date, how much data you’ve used to date, and what your data cap is.

DataMan Next was updated to Version 6.1 on March 7, 2013. The update added support for 30-day and weekly plans, as well as more themes, fonts, and colors. The app has a total of 84 customer ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars. Feedback comments are positive.

I really like the simplicity of this app. It’s easy to glance quickly at the app and see exactly how much data I have available to me for the month.
