If you’re a teacher and you want a fast, secure, easy, and free way to send reminders to your students and/or their parents, then you need this app. You can literally send a message to your entire class in just a few seconds!

The great part about this app is that it’s totally secure – on both sides. Teachers never see the students’ or parents’ numbers, and the recipients will never see the teacher’s number. 

How It Works

To set it up, teachers will have to create an account, with name, time zone, email address, and password. Next, you create a class, give it a name, and the app will create a graphic with a message that works like a signup password; students and parents text the number with the message provided to have their names and phone numbers added to the list.

They will respond to a prompt to confirm, and they are added. Again, the teacher never sees these phone numbers; this is just so the app knows how to reach them.

After this, it’s a simple as the teacher choosing Compose and typing out a message to send (up to 140 characters). Hit Send and everyone on the list will receive the message.

There are tons of great features, like the ability to set the message to go out in the future. You can choose the date and even the time it will be sent. You can send to more than one class at once and keep track of messages sent as well as scheduled messages. Finally, parents and students can sign up to receive the messages as either texts or emails.
